Book Clubs

ELHS Book Club - The book club meets periodically each month to discuss the provided book, play games, complete activities, and try foods from the book. 

 

Summer Book Club - Reading in the summer helps prevent “summer slide!” This club is a hybrid of virtual and in-person meetings. Each student reads the material of their choice and discussions are carried out during the meetings. Fun surveys and activities are provided.

 

Tome Society - This is our advanced book club. Students read around 20 books for the school year. They are tested on a third of the books during three checkpoint dates. The results are tallied and shared among participating schools to show the rankings.
