Leah Hembree

 

 

Mrs. Hembree is a graduate of the University of Alabama with a Masters in Library Information Science and Athens State University with a B.S. in Education. She is a National Board Certified Library Media Specialist and began her career in education at R.A. Hubbard where she taught for six years. She served there and at Moulton Elementary as a library media specialist before coming to East Lawrence High School where she has enjoyed working with the students and her colleagues since 2005. She likes planning programs for students, collaborating with coworkers, providing welcoming spaces for others to enjoy, and creating fun literary experiences for all! She is thankful to work in a career she loves. In her spare time, she likes to read, shop, and spend time with her family.
