Craig Stover

 

Coach Stover is an Army Veteran with a B.S. in Social Science from Athens State and M.A. in History from UNA. He is also certified to teach general science. He was a quality assurance engineer for about 20 years before getting into education. He taught at R.A. Hubbard for seven years, where he taught history and science, coached three different sports, and also served as athletic director before transferring to ELHS for the 2022-23 school year. He is married to Monica, a nurse practitioner, and has two children: Allison is a social worker and Ryan is in the USAF where he supervises the maintenance and flight status of fighter aircraft. He has two grandchildren, Jackson Carter and Raleigh June. He teaches both regular U.S. History and college dual enrollment U.S. History at ELHS. Coach Stover has also had a paper published detailing the early years of the U.S. Space program in the North Alabama Historical Review(Link to published paper).
