Craig Stover

 

Army and National Guard veteran. My wife Monica is a nurse practitioner, my daughter Allison is a social worker, and my son Ryan is an NCO in the USAF. I worked as a quality assurance professional for 16 years before I started teaching in 2013. In my spare time I like to put together challenging Lego sets, read (history, military, science-fiction) and work outside around my property. 

 

I have coached baseball, basketball, and football while also serving as athletic director for several years at R.A. Hubbard. I also umpired baseball for about 20 years. I have a B.S. in Social Science from Athen State University and a M.A. in History from UNA. I am the SGA sponsor and I teach US History, Dual Enrollment History, and Psychology.

 

Coach Stover has also had a paper published detailing the early years of the U.S. Space program in the North Alabama Historical Review(Link to published paper).
