Agriscience

The Agriscience program at East Lawrence High School provides students with hands-on learning experiences that connect science, agriculture, and real-world career opportunities. Through coursework and participation in the Future Farmers of America (FFA), students explore areas such as animal science, plant science, agricultural mechanics, environmental stewardship, and leadership development. The program emphasizes practical skills, problem-solving, and responsibility while preparing students for careers in agriculture, natural resources, and related industries. By combining classroom instruction with hands-on projects and competitions, the Agriscience department helps students develop both technical knowledge and leadership skills that will serve them in college, careers, and their communities.
