ESports

The ESports program at East Lawrence High School provides students with opportunities to compete in organized video game competitions while developing valuable skills such as teamwork, communication, strategy, and leadership. Students represent the Eagles in competitive titles such as Smash Bros. Ultimate and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, participating in both online leagues and in-person events. In addition to competition, the program emphasizes sportsmanship, problem-solving, and responsible technology use while giving students a place to connect through their shared interests in gaming and technology. East Lawrence ESports encourages students to grow as competitors, teammates, and leaders while proudly representing the Eagle community.

Coach Terry began the a club for ESports interest in 2023. The first varsity team created began in the 2025 Spring Season. If you want to show your support, please follow our Twitch channel or our YouTube channel where you can follow/subscribe. The money gained from our Twitch account goes back into the ESports funds so we can continue buying better equipment for our players. Check out our playlists below to see the team in action!
