eSports

 

Competitive video gaming is the definition of eSports. Here at East Lawrence High School, we have begun an eSports Club for our students. Competing against other teams in a multitude of video games in different leagues is important to us. The opportunities for scholarships for our students are great within the eSports world, and we want to give our students the best shot at every and all scholarship opportunities.

 

Coach Terry began the club in 2023. He currently coaches two games, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Coach Terry's goal is to give our students a chance to compete on the highest level through practice and playing as a team. The money gained from our Twitch account goes back into the eSports Club so we can continue buying better equipment for our players.
